Phoenix Honors Staff During Direct Support Professional Week
How we celebrated Direct Support Professionals Week this year.
In honor of our staff here at Phoenix, we celebrated our workforce this week and all they do to make our organization so successful. This year’s theme was Friday the 13th. We started the week off with a thank you video sent to each staff member, developed by the administrative team at the Central Office, as our way of saying thank you to each and every staff member. On Monday, the winner of the T-shirt contest was also revealed. Cheri from English House was our big winner!
Throughout the week, we sprinkled in surprises for our staff, including delivery of treats, thank your notes from their manager, and a free T-shirt with Cheri’s design. We also took time share thank messages to our DSPs and celebrate our two ARRM Cares Award nominees: Shelley Peltier and Shawn Johnson. We ended the week off with a staff brunch and barbecue for all to enjoy!
Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate and thank you to our incredible employees who work day-in and day-out to provide the individuals we support with a better life! We wouldn't be able to do this without you!
