Reminder of Phoenix Policies

Refresh your memory on our policies of transportation and holiday planning, anti-bullying, and emergency disaster planning.

Recently, we've received many requests about transportation around the holidays. So we wanted to take this time to remind you about some of the Phoenix policies we have in place.

Transportation and Holiday Planning

Phoenix is more than happy to work with individuals and/or family members to accommodate holiday transportation, but we need prior notice!

Phoenix must be provided at least 30 days notice to consider holiday transportation needs. To read more about this policy, please click here.

Anti-Bullying Policy

The Phoenix Residence, Inc. will not tolerate bullying behavior of any kind. An individual’s home and work environment must be a place of peace where the individual feels comfortable to live and/or work without fear and anxiety. Bullying behavior will not be tolerated. Notice of Policy Change: Emergency Disaster Planning

Recently, The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services implemented a new national Emergency Preparedness. Requirements requirement for providers to adequately prepare to meet the needs of vulnerable people during disasters and emergency situations, like a tornado, flood, wildfire, or snowstorm. We believe it is imperative that we plan ahead in case a disaster should happen. As part of this Emergency Preparedness, we practice a real-life scenario once a year and plan for staffing resources, health/medical care, housing, safety, and security as well as other supports that may be necessary. We also plan for continuity of operations to ensure that we are able to meet the needs of individuals that may arise.
