As we celebrate this holiday season, we are reminded that our greatest strength lies in our relationships and our compassion for one another. At The Phoenix Residence, we know that we are truly stronger together—our purpose is rooted in helping, uplifting, and serving each other. Every day, we see how much we need each other to survive and thrive.
This year, we launched our Sustain Our Services campaign in place of our Close the Gap campaign to ensure our dedicated staff receive the wages and benefits they deserve. Our Direct Support Professionals are the heart of our mission, providing essential care and support to individuals with disabilities. Sustaining this campaign for the long term means we can continue to lift each other up, nurture meaningful relationships, and help every individual live a life of choice and dignity.
This year has been tough as we’ve faced challenges from the Federal government, including cuts to Medicaid and several other assistance programs our staff and the individuals we support rely on every day. Please be assured we are doing everything we can to provide at the state level.
