Thanking Our Staff During DSP Week
This week is all about celebrating our hardworking direct support professionals!
Direct Support Professional Week is here! This week-long celebration is all about celebrating our wonderful staff and everything they do for the individuals we support. We could not do this without them! We thank you for:
- For being present
- Supporting people to live a life of choice
- For your smile and laughter, bringing joy to the life of others
- Your kind words
- Advocating – when people cannot do it for themselves!
- Helping your coworkers
- Working numerous hours
- Being flexible and ready to assist with anything that needs to be done
You make a positive difference in the lives of so many people! There is no profession more honorable than supporting human beings.
We started this week off with a message from President & CEO Darlene Scott and handing out gift bags & T-shirts to all our staff members! And we'll end the week featuring a few of our staff members who were nominated for an award and a fun delivery of bundt cakes to the homes!
