Phoenix Staff Attends Annual ARRM Conference
The annual conference held May 15-16, provided an opportunity for training, a large trade show, as well as networking for those in attendance.
Several Phoenix Residence staff members attended this year’s Annual ARRM Conference, Building Bridges, in Duluth at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. The annual conference held May 15-16, provided an opportunity for training, a large trade show, as well as networking for those in attendance. The staff enjoyed two fantastic keynote speakers and were able to attend workshops; offering a range of topics from admissions to leadership and critical thinking.
The two-day event included the annual meeting where new directors are elected to the board, an auction to raise money for the association, and the ARRM Cares Award Ceremony where exemplary direct support staff is honored. Phoenix staff members Barb Husaby, Ruthie McDuffie, and Jackie Oie were among those nominated for the award. Congratulations Barb, Ruthie, and Jackie!
