Made in the Shade

The Phoenix Residence is gearing up for Made in the Shade, a non-competitive walk, run, and roll event to raise funds for non-profit agencies serving people with disabilities, held at Thomas Beach on Lake Calhoun on September 19, 2015.

There are several ways for you to get involved:

• Lace up your shoes, tune up your bike, wheelchair, or stroller and join us on September 19. Made in the Shade is truly a fun event – contact your friends and family members and create a team to walk in support of The Phoenix Residence and your loved one.  Registration begins at 9:30 am with a post-walk celebration following the event featuring lunch and music.  T-shirts are given to participants who raise $25 or more in pledges.  To download a pledge form, click here.

• Become an event sponsor; click here for sponsorship level information.  Sponsor a specific Phoenix home or make a donation directly to Phoenix Residence.  Please contact Rachel Koenigs at 651-294-7964 if you are interested or return the completed form and your payment to The Phoenix Residence, 330 Marie Ave E, West St. Paul, MN 55118.

All of the funds raised by The Phoenix Residence go directly to support people we serve – each of the Phoenix homes decide how to use the funds:

• Eric’s – Fire Pit

• Chaparral – Music Therapy

• Ludden – Living Room Furniture

• Newport – Trip to Duluth

• Suburban – New Stove

• Viking – Music Therapy

• Western – Patio Furniture

• Howard – Living Room Furniture

• Drexel - Bench for Memorial Garden
