Support a 5% Rate Increase for Home and Community Services
What: Join The Phoenix Residence for a rally at the State Capitol November 12 from 11am-12pm to bring attention to the need for a 5% rate increase for Home and Community Based Services in 2014. Legislative champions and leaders from the disability community will speak about the campaign and share what you can do to help.
Who: If you support a 5% rate increase for services for people with disabilities and older adults in Minnesota, your voice is needed!
Where: Minnesota State Capitol at 75 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., St. Paul, 55155. If weather permits, we will gather on the South Steps; otherwise, please join us in the Rotunda.
How: Wear blue, bring signs, and prepare letters to drop off with your Representative and Senator.
