ANCOR Releases Report on Disability Supports

Learn more about how well programs in Minnesota are serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. 

ANCOR, our national trade association, released its recent findings from all 50 states on disability services yesterday. See their announcement below. The Case for Inclusion Report can be accessed online, where you can review the findings by state.

Case for Inclusion 2020 Brings Visibility to Unrelenting Workforce Crisis, Growing Waiting Lists

Yesterday, the ANCOR Foundation's Included. Supported. Empowered. campaign, along with our partners at United Cerebral Palsy, released the Case for Inclusion 2020 at a launch event at the National Press Club in Washington, DC.
 
The Case for Inclusion 2020 assesses all 50 states and the District of Columbia on 58 measures of how well state programs, primarily Medicaid, are supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This year's report finds that although some states are seeing progress in their efforts to promote community inclusion, deeper investments in community-based supports are needed in order for people to live truly inclusive lives.

The Case for Inclusion 2020 is already making headlines, and we look forward to raising the visibility of the critical challenges highlighted in this year's report in the coming weeks. Among the highlights:
