Last Call for Golf Tournament Donations!

With just weeks remaining until our highly anticipated golf tournament, we are reaching out to you with an urgent request. The Russ Douglas Phoenix Golf Classic is one of our highlights of the year, and we are calling on YOU to help make this tournament a SUCCESS!
We are kindly requesting your assistance in securing the final live auction and wine donations to round out the day. We are putting together some exciting live auction packages that we think you will LOVE, including a sports package, a weekend in Stillwater, and a trip to the North Shore!
Can You Donate to These Once-in-a-Lifetime Experiences?
Here are some suggested items that will captivate our attendees and inspire their generosity:
- Lodging accommodations for a local or national trip – A weekend stay at a hotel, timeshare or cabin, or a flight for a vacation are all welcome!
- Memorabilia or tickets to sports game or entertainment event
- Dining experiences or gift certificates to nearby restaurants
- Tasting at a local winery or brewery
- Adventure or outdoor activities
- Spa or wellness packages
Want to Donate, But Not Sure Where to Start?
Any little bit helps! If you don’t have any connections, reach out to a local restaurant, winery or brewery, or entertainment venue to see if they’ll donate. OR we will gladly accept any gift cards/certificates you purchase to put towards one of our packages! Be creative! Even a simple gas gift card would be a great addition to one of our trips!
Right now, we are looking for donations in the following areas:
- Golf Courses
- Wineries/breweries
- Saint Paul/Twin Cities area
- Stillwater area
- North Shore area – anywhere from Duluth to Two Harbors to Lutsen
Or if you'd rather make a monetary contribution, we will gladly use that towards a live auction item.
Another Opportunity to Contribute!
Donate a Bottle of Wine – New This Year! We’ll have a Cork Pull, where golfers have the chance to win a bottle of wine! We are looking for approximately 25 bottles of wine, each worth $25 or more for this new attraction. Premier bottles of wine are also encouraged!
Your vital support can make all the difference in the lives of the people with disabilities we support! All the funds raised from this golf event will go back to our Close the Gap Campaign – providing our staff with the wages and benefits they deserve. The stronger workforce we have, the better we can provide to the individuals with disabilities we support.
