All About Us!
The Carver House is located in a quiet, spacious area close to highway 61 Newportand 494 in Maplewood.
We have a nice patio where we grill during the summer months. We like to host parties and invite our sister house, Douglas House. We also enjoy our big, open yard. We have planned activities in the evenings such as visiting the library and the local YMCA, going out to dinner, shopping, and play card games.
During the day, some attend or attend Day Programs and others are retired.

We like to go shopping a lot! Best Buy, Hobby Shop, the pawn shop, Walmart, and Target are some of our favorites.
We play the Wii, like to listen to music, and watch movies. We celebrate everyone’s birthday with a party.
We participate in Special Olympics and race our wheelchairs.
What Helps Me Feel Safe and Happy
Every morning we all get up early and get ready for work, day programs, or other activities. We eat breakfast and converse together.
During the weekends, we like to plan outings or just hang-out in the living room. We play music, watch movies ant TV.
