All About Us!
Western House is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. We have a fenced in back yard as well as a large front yard.
We are very close to a pond where we often see deer in the spring. We also have a pair of ducks who like to feast in our back yard! A park with paved trails, a picnic area, and a playground is within walking distance which we frequent on the weekends and throughout the summer. We enjoy watching the kids play at the playground!
There are several Day Programs within a 10 mile radius of Western House. We are very close to Rosedale
Mall, Como Park, and several other shopping centers; perfect for a community outing!
Our staff has many years of experience caring for people with disabilities.

- We LOVE to go out to eat! Many excellent restaurants are near Western House and we want to try them all!
- We LOVE to grill in the summer!
- We are out and about in the community at least once a week; choosing our destination.
What Helps Me Feel Safe and Happy
Our Routine: During a typical work week, we are up at different times depending on when the bus arrives. One individual is at home during the day and likes to sleep in. On the weekends , we all enjoy sleeping in!
We often have 1 on 1 outings of our choice on the weekends.
