All About Us!

Lydia House is located in Maplewood, just blocks from Maplewood Mall with access to many fast food and sit-down restaurants. Several churches are also within a close proximity. Our house is close to a paved walking path leading to a park where we feed the ducks and a small lake to enjoy finishing.

We are close to many day program providers such as PAI, Ally, Cerenity Senior Day Center, and MSS.

Lydia House has an experienced staff with many employees having five or more years tenure. Our staff is trained in wound care, G-tube, CPR, first aid, TMP, and depression.

The individuals who reside at Lydia enjoy going to the movies, bowling, dining out, swimming, listening to music, dancing, shopping, and going on vacation.

When at home, we like to play board games and theWii and enjoy gardening, cooking/baking, and sitting on the deck in our backyard.

What Helps Me Feel Safe and Happy

We have individuals who stay home several days during the week while others attend a local day program.

On the weekends, we participate in the activities we choose and enjoy. The individuals at Lydia like to stay up late doing their own thing; listening to music, watching TV, or working on a personal project. Everyone likes their own quiet time during the week but also spends quality together in the afternoon/evenings chatting about their day, going out in the community, or doing an activity at home.
