All About Us!
Foss House is located on a quiet dead-end street off Johnson Parkway in St. Paul. Our back yard is fenced-in with frequent visits from deer or wild turkeys. We enjoy sitting on the patio, eating, playing games, or just hanging out.
Lake Phalen is in close proximity, which we visit often for strolls around the lake and enjoy watching the nature. We also visit the local mall and the many local restaurants. The day training programs we attend are located within a 14 mile radius.
Our staff enjoys playing board games and activities with bingo as our all-time favorite!
Facts about Folks at Foss
We are a pretty laid back group who enjoys games, movies, and especially The Ellen Degeneres Show. We all get excited when Ellen is on and sing and dance along to her show. Our dream is to attend her show someday.
Many of us are Special Olympic athletes; competing in both bowling and track and field.
What Helps Me Feel Safe and Happy
Our Routine:
On a typical weekday, we are out the door by 8am to our Day Programs. After work, we like to have coffee, play a game, or get our nails done until our favorite show Ellen is on.
On the weekends we all get up at different times. We like to go outside, play games, visit the community, and watch movies.
