Phoenix Awards April Leader of the Month
April Leader of the Month Goes to Jen Gottschling
Jen is the face of Phoenix. She has an easy-going demeanor and a quick smile. She keeps Drexel House running smoothly. Our individuals there are involved in activities at home and in the community, including birthday celebrations, parties, and cookouts, where she has invited the local police department to join. When we need volunteers, Jen is always willing to help—and does so with a smile on her face and positive attitude! During the hiring event in April, Jen assisted with a number of interviews, even though we didn’t hire for her house. Thanks to her, our day was successful.
Jen also participates in legislative advocacy. She attended ARRM Day at the Capitol with one of our individuals, and met with the senator and legislator of Drexel’s district. She champions for her individuals like they are her family members. When we need assistance, Jen is there. She has joined the Silent Auction and Raffle Committee this year, and has become quite involved in Phoenix’s fundraising efforts.
