What You Need to Know for Our Golf Tournament
Hello! This letter serves as your confirmation for the Russ Douglas Phoenix Golf Classic 2023. See below for more details. Please share the information below with the rest of your group or foursome.

Registration starts at 11 am and the golfing will start at 12:30 pm. We ask that all participants register no later than 12:00 pm and be at your golf cart no later than 12:15 pm.
In order for the event to run smoothly, we ask that you keep the following things in mind:
- This year’s tournament will be in a scramble format. There will be a copy of the golf rules on your cart, including which holes the games will be on.
I’ve also included them attached to this email, so you can review them ahead of time. - River Oaks asks all players to wear soft spike golf shoes (if wearing golf shoes).
- Please plan for the weather! We will continue to play, unless there is inclement weather.
This year’s tournament will look a little different afterwards! After your fun day out on the course, join us in the clubhouse for a Social Hour & Live Auction – emceed by the one and only Dan “the Common Man” Cole from KFAN 100.3!
We have some great packages lined up for the Live Auction – including a golfing package, the ultimate sports package including Minnesota Twins & Wilds tickets, and trips to Stillwater, Saint Paul, and the North Shore! It’ll be something you won’t want to miss!
Before you hit the course, be sure to check out our NEW Cork Pull and purchase your raffle tickets!
You’ll have a chance to WIN UP TO $500 or exclusive wines during this year’s tournament! Also, be sure to grab a boxed lunch to eat before you hit the course or bring along with you!
