Made in the Shade 2017

The Phoenix Residence joined in on the fun at Made in the Shade 2017 on September 16 at Lake Calhoun. The weather held off and everyone had a great time! After the walk, participants enjoyed a grill-out, along with music entertainment from The Moss Piglets.

Made in the Shade is a non-competitive 5K walk, run and roll supporting those with disabilities. All funds raised go directly back to our homes, supporting their specific fundraising goals. Our homes fundraised for activities, such as music therapy, weekend/day trips, and new furniture.
