Send a Message to Gov. Dayton to Support The 5% Campaign

As we enter into the holiday season, let’s take this opportunity to reach out to Governor Dayton and urge him to support The 5% Campaign again in 2015! The updated state budget forecast released this week shows a $1.037 billion surplus for the fiscal year 2016-17. This forecast will be used when Gov. Dayton creates his 2015 budget and we want to be sure it includes a 5% increase!

Between now and the end of December, use the provided template or send a personal card of your own. Here are a few things to include:

• Thank the Governor for his support of The 5% Campaign in 2014
• Tell him the need is still high and we hope he will once again make Minnesotans with disabilities a priority in 2015
